Q.) My air conditioner seems to run all the time. Why is that?
A.) There are a lot of different reasons for this problem:
• Unit could be low on Freon
• Condenser coil could be dirty
• Unit could be too small for area
Q.) My outside unit has ice all over it. Why is that?
A.) One of the following may be happening:
• Unit may be low on Freon
• Imodigient air (blower not running or dirty filters)
Q.) My pilot light will not stay lit. Why is that?
A.) Normally, this is caused by a dirty pilot, but it could also be a bad thermocouple, or gas valve.
Q.) My furnace is making a clicking sound, but it is not heating. Why is that?
A.) This is normally an igniter problem. The igniter is trying to light burners but cannot. Causes could include:
• Dirty electrode or sensor
• No gas present at burners
• Control problem
